<p>Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Communication/Audio-Visual Designer to support our business in Chantilly, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs.</p><p><p>The successful candidate will work on state of the art Video Displays and Video Teleconferences (VTC) as well as provide Operations Center support in a mission critical environment.</p><p><p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for data and voice network transport technologies and services.</li><li>Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for audio/video services such as in support of conference rooms and operations centers.</li><li>Creates and documents designs for RF distribution networks to include TV and radio head-ends.</li><li>Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards. Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of implementation packages per Boeing standards.</li><li>Performs maintenance of network systems. Collects and compiles data for budget planning.</li><li>Coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects.</li><li>Create estimates and design drawings sets as required.</li><li>Perform trouble-shooting on audio/visual systems such as video walls and conference room set-ups.</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p><p><b>Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. </b></p><p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills and Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Ability to obtain aCounterintelligence Polygraph post-start </li><li>Minimum3 years of experience in audio-visual multimedia applications and equipment</li><li>Minimum3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Experience &Skills)</b>:</p><ul><li>AMX programming</li><li>Minimum3 years of experience working with fiber optics</li><li>AutoCAD experience</li><li>KVM experience<br /></li></ul><p><b>Typical Education/Experience</b>: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.</p><p><p><b>Shift: </b>This position is for 1st shift.</p><p><p><b>RELOCATION:</b> This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
