<p><b>The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)</b> organization is seeking an <b>Experienced Quality Engineer</b> to support their F-18 Service Life Modification program. This position is located in <b>St. Louis, Missouri.</b></p><p><p>The successful candidate will lead the quality planning efforts to ensure the correct safety of flight applications, inspection certifications, and customer requirements. </p><p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements</li><li>Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements</li><li>Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs</li><li>Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness</li><li>Service Life Modification, DCMA corrective action request assistance and resolutions</li><li>Shop assistance as required</li><li>Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances</li><li>Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions</li><li>Develops and implements corrective actions</li><li>Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved</li><li>Works under minimal direction</li><li>Ability to travel 10%</li></ul><p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. </b><b>An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. </b></p><p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree or higher</li><li>5+ years of experience QMS requirements</li><li>3+ years of experience in aircraft structures</li><li>3+ years of MRO experience</li></ul><p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Naval aviation maintenance program experience</li><li>Ability to travel 10%</li></ul><p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
