<p></p><p>Boeing DS&A Data Solutions and Analytics is currently looking for a <b><b>Cloud Computing Architect 4 (Systems Architecture</b></b>) to join their team in <b><b>Englewood Co</b></b>.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Developing, creating, and modifying Portfolio Architectures and making recommendations in regards to their optimization; working in multiple platforms, including AWS and Azure cloud offerings as well as traditional Data Center models to create software solutions that address user need.</li><li>Leading the definition of architecture principles, guidelines, patterns, and standards.</li><li>Applying appropriate estimating techniques to determine the level of effort and financial investment required for the technical implementation of the solution.</li><li>Monitoring the implementation of architecture throughout the portfolio of products and providing technical mentoring, guidance and clarification to other architects and resources.</li><li>Identifying business and technology trends and evaluating their impact on the domain solution portfolio.</li><li>Investigates new technologies and product opportunities that could be used to generate competitive advantage.</li><li>Creates technology roadmaps for identified solutions.</li><li>Maintaining applications and infrastructure in Cloud and implementing monitoring standard solutions;</li><li>Troubleshooting, analyzing and solving issues with networking, server, storage, database, and security services based on architectures and cloud managed services; and, working with different teams globally, including computer programmers, to plan and design work in a SAFe 4.0 and Agile workplace.</li><li>Solid programming ability, either through education, experience, or a combination of both</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a Unix / Linux environment</li><li>Strong communication and people skills</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Employer will sponsor applicants for employment visa status.</b></b></p><p></p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience): </b></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in a dedicated cloud solution role or strong skills in the domain</li><li>Familiar with AWS cloud technology and practices as primary, Azure as beneficial</li><li>3+ years experience in securing architecture for web services and web-based applications with technical understanding of major cloud security risks, including: advanced persistent threats, data breaches, hacking/social engineering, denial of service, and authentication issues.</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher</li></ul><p><b><b>Typical Education & Experience: </b></b></p><p><br />Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p></p><p>This position does not offer relocation.
