<p>Boeing is seeking Contracts Representatives to support our new work for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL or work remotely and willing to travel to Huntsville as needed. The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has initiated a new competition for a Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) to defeat advanced threats. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is a diversified, global organization providing leading solutions for the design, production, modification and support of weapons systems, homeland defense, military fixed-wing aircraft, rotorcraft, among others. The Missile and Weapon Systems (MWS) team is committed to developing technology to meet current and emerging threats. We are keeping pace with advancements on every front by investing in next-generation, disruptive technologies including hypersonics and space sensor layer ensuring that the divisions products are ever ready for rapid capability insertion to meet warfighter needs.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Administer and monitor contract performance on major government contracts</p></li><li><p>Conduct day-to-day contract administration activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Coordinate the receipt and submission of all formal contract correspondence and deliverables</p></li><li><p>Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company and customers ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications and incorporating changes</p></li><li><p>Execute contractual instruments to ensure adherence to company policy as set forth in company delegation of authority</p></li><li><p>Analyze and interpret contract requirements, including all terms and conditions, FAR/DFARS, and Agency Supplementals</p></li><li><p>Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations, compliance and contract changes</p></li><li><p>Conduct proposal preparation for customer requirements</p></li><li><p>Lead negotiation team to finalize terms and conditions, technical requirements, schedule and price</p></li><li><p>Participate in TINA implementation/sweeps</p></li><li><p>Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contract terms</p></li><li><p>Prepare teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and domestic consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreements</p></li><li><p>Prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation package</p></li><li><p>Participate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties and projects as assigned</p></li></ul><p></p><p>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)</p><ul><li><p>Bachelors Degree</p></li><li><p>6 or more years' of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales</p></li><li><p>3 or more years of experience working with working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts</p></li><li><p>Experience working in cross functional teams</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project</p></li><li><p>Willing and able to obtain a Secret US Government Security Clearance</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)</p><ul><li><p>Current active Secret clearance</p></li><li><p>Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated presentation skills to senior managers and/or executives</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Typical Education/Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p></p></li></ul><p>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
