<p>An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing as a <b><b>Supplier Quality Specialist </b></b>based in the area of <b><b>Krosno</b></b>, Poland<b><b>. </b></b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Position overview: </b></b></p><p>The role will be working with a key Boeing supplier as parts of a wider Boeing team in Poland and Europe on the test and development of a new military programme.</p><p></p><p>The job holder will be responsible for providing support and guidance to suppliers locally in Poland. However, additional travel may be required to provide said support across all Poland and Europe region, with occasional cooperation with other global suppliers outside of Europe. The position will require a highly self-motivated individual, capable of being self-directed with minimal supervision.</p><p></p><p>Please note: This role is based in Poland, in <b><b>Krosno</b></b> area. While this is a virtual opportunity and the job holder will not typically work on-site at a Boeing facility, the position will require frequent travels, including possible extended stays in Poland and close foreign countries, and as such easy access to transportation network (highways, airports, trains stations).</p><p></p><p></p><p><b><b>Position responsibilities:</b></b></p><ul><li>Maintaining quality, stability, and flow for multiple programs in a fast paced and challenging environment</li><li>Inspection of products produced from the supply base</li><li>Conduct audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products to the AS9100 standard</li><li>Inspections and verification of products for compliance</li><li>Monitoring supplier quality related activities and reporting issues</li><li>Documenting and reporting audit and assessment results</li><li>Supporting duties and responsibilities assigned by management</li><li>Ensuring supplier notifications of quality escapes are processed as required</li><li>Evaluating supplier Root Cause Analysis and approving corrective action plans</li><li>Conduct assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work</li><li>Providing supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity</li><li>Monitoring quality improvement initiatives at supplier</li><li>Developing training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity<p></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Employer will not attempt to obtain immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants.</b></b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Basic qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>English proficiency</li><li>Experience in quality/inspection</li><li>AS9100 auditor experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Preferred qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li>Experience/Exposure in <b><b>aircraft landing gear</b></b> is highly desirable</li><li>Experience in the inspection of machined and fabricated parts/assemblies</li><li>Experience in hydraulic systems</li><li>Experience in implementation of supplier management processes (Including assessment of supplier capability, capacity, and management of supplier performance in the technical areas of quality, schedule performance and work statement compliance)</li><li>Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard</li><li>Knowledge and experience in APQP/manufacturing/inspection in aerospace products manufacturing, inspection, machining, special processes, and assembly are desirable</li><li>Ability to understand and interpret 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings, production paperwork and manufacturing specifications</li><li>Ability to articulate non-compliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution</li><li>Ability to establish good personal relationships and outstanding team building skills in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.</li><li>Program management and quality management skills</li><li>Excellent computer skills will be expected to input data into a number of different on and off-line systems and applications including Microsoft Office</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b></p><p>This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p><p></p><p><b><b>Important information regarding this requisition:</b></b> This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND.
