<p>Boeing Autonomous Systems, Maritime Undersea, Integrated Missions programs are seeking a Configuration Management & Product Integration Engineer to support proprietary programs. The Integrated Missions portfolio includes bi-coastal programs with teams in Herndon, VA and Huntington Beach CA. This position is based in Herndon, but may require travel to the Huntington Beach facility to accomplish knowledge transfer and to perform coordination with the technical team there.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Be an additional power user of the programs data and configuration management tool (PIMS) </li><li>Oversee and coach producers of data regarding our configuration management release process including change request generation, version management, help with setting up peer reviews, addressing findings, etc.</li><li>Work with Integrated Product Team leads to define and capture work tasks, with appropriate predecessors and successors, to help the team focus on the critical path toward meeting program milestones </li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)</b></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Experienced user of Earned Value Management Systems</li><li>Experienced user of Microsoft Project</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):</b></p><ul><li>Experience using PIMS (data management tool)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
