<p>Boeing Defense Space and Security is looking for an experienced, pro-active, dedicated <b>Lead Product Data Management Specialist</b>. The position will be located primarily in Huntsville, AL.</p><p></p><p>The <b>Lead Product Data Management Specialist</b> (Level 4) for Interim Cryogenic Propulsion System (ICPS) leads activities to define and document and negotiates product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management, and engineering processes.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Oversees activities to develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.</li><li>Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; conducts audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.</li><li>Leads others to develop certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.</li><li>Develops plans, schedules and resource commitments to develop, test and deploy process improvements and changes.</li><li>Works under consultative direction.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Authorization</b><b>:</b></p><p></p><p><b>The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></p><p></p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. Government authorities.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or higher.</li><li>3+ years of experience working with product data management information and systems.</li><li>3+ years of experience in Configuration Management</li><li>3+ years of experience with Design Changes and process control</li><li>Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.</li><li>Experience working in a collaborative work environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Experience conducting supplier audits (Acceptance Reviews, Functional/Physical Configuration Audit)</li><li>Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports.</li><li>Experience with contract deliverables</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Typical Education and Experience</b><b>:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation</b><b>:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
