<p>BDS (Boeing Defense Space & Security) Global Marketing is seeking an outstanding individual who will engage the Air Force Acquisition and Science & Technology Community at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Fairborn, Ohio.</p><p>You will be a key member of the BDS and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Global Sales and Marketing team responsible for activities in support of facilitating key dialogue between Boeing and our government partners at WPAFB on current programs and pursuing future Air Force weapons systems business opportunities at WPAFB that will enable the Air Force to remain the worlds premiere fighting force in the air. In this role, you will report to the Director of Air Force Acquisition Engagement and the Dayton Field Office.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Proactively engage senior leadership and individuals within AFMC (Air Force Materiel Command), AFLCMC (Air Force Life Cycle Management Center), AFRL (Air Force Research Laboratory) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) to develop and maintain superior relationships.</li><li>Facilitate BDS and BGS executive leadership interactions with the commanders of Air Force Materiel Command (four star), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (three star) the Air Force Research Laboratory (two star), Program Executive Officers (PEOs) at the one and two star and equivalent Senior Executive Service (SES) levels and their respective staffs.</li><li>Provide information and advice to align Boeing efforts to USAF acquisition, development and research priorities. Identify and assist in resolution of execution issues for current Air Forcee programs of record.</li><li>Proactively engage external audiences and our government partners to understand capability needs and acquisition process issues, provide capability analysis, and identify BDS and BGS solutions.</li><li>Apply industry and US/international government acquisition knowledge in support of BDS and BGS business opportunities.</li><li>Provide BDS and BGS leadership with Air Force acquisition community and market knowledge to support development of capabilities/solutions and offerings to meet Air Force requirements.</li><li>Understand Boeing products and capabilities and how they may be employed</li><li>Establish and maintain a team-based culture between BDS and BGS Global Sales & Marketing and the business units, and facilitate close coordination and proper communication among Boeing business units, other Global Marketing Offices, and supporting organizations/individuals to ensure unified, cohesive messaging and a single Boeing voice to the Air Force.</li><li>Assist Boeing teammates on call plans, contact plans and white paper development.</li><li>Support BDS and BGS leaders with accurate knowledge of Air Force acquisition priorities, program execution issues, capability gaps and opportunities.</li><li>Provide insights in order to recognize and develop opportunities that support existing and emerging USAF requirements.</li><li>Provide timely communications for BDS senior leaders for use in strategy development, tactical planning and execution.</li><li>Actively participate in local civic, business, defense industry and professional associations to enhance Boeing's image as a good corporate community partner.</li></ul><p>This is a highly visible position where you have the opportunity to build a long-term career with Boeing.</p><p></p><p>This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)</p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree</li><li>10 or more years of experience working with the Military or DoD</li><li>5 or more years of experience with USAF (U.S. Air Force) and DoD (Department of Defense) requirements, PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution) and/or acquisition processes</li><li>10 or more years of experience interfacing directly with senior military officials and executives</li><li>10 or more years of experience both written and verbal, with public speaking and frequent interactions with senior-level management</li><li>Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees</li><li>Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management</li><li>Occasional travel (10% of the time) domestic and internationally</li><li>Current and active secret clearance</li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)</p><ul><li>Technical Degree preferred</li><li>10+ years of experience with USAF (preferred) or US Government acquisition processes or organizations from either industry, Air Force/US Government, or combined a plus.</li><li>Experience in developing marketing plans and participation in pursuit/capture teams and proposal review teams to support new business development, familiarity with the Boeing products and business units is a plus.</li><li>Experience in one or more major USAF acquisition centers or the Air Force Research Laboratory a plus</li><li>Familiar with DoD Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), rapid capabilities development and Air Force/DoD acquisition processes, as well as DoD budget processes</li><li>Superior written and verbal communication</li><li>Current and active TS/SCI</li></ul><p></p><p>Typical Education/Experience:</p><ul><li>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).</li></ul><p></p><p>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.</p><p></p><p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p>
