<p>Boeing Defense, Space & Securitys (BDS) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeings seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The PAC-3 Seeker team is a cross functional, highly skilled, motivated group embracing the beliefs that focused safety, execution, LEAN manufacturing and business practices that will secure our future and well-being, driving our product to be the seeker of choice for the PAC-3 program and future generations of weapon systems.</p><p></p><p>The PAC-3 program is looking for Senior Gimbal Test Engineer. This position is located at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, Alabama.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Performing SPC reviews and Gimbal Troubleshooting</li><li>Performing analysis of test data to determine success or failure root cause</li><li>Support the development of Gimbal Sub-assembly test plans and design</li><li>Performing Lead responsibilities to less experienced engineers</li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requiresthe ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. </b><b>An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): </b></p><ul><li>Minimum technical bachelors degree</li><li>Experience with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting principals</li><li>Knowledge of Radar design and concepts</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience): </b></p><ul><li>Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers is preferred</li><li>Experience with complex systems development, integration and test is preferred</li><li>Experience with production/factory engineering processes is preferred</li><li>Experience in systems integration and testing within a factory environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
