<p><b>Boeing Defense, Space and Security(BDS) </b>is seeking a highly motivated <b>Senior Operations Analyst </b>with lean practitioner experience to join the elite Phantoms Works (PW) Operations Team on <b>1st shift</b> in <b>Seattle, WA</b>. You will be responsible for Proprietary Space Operations supporting manufacturing. Serve a pivotal role in providing manufacturing knowledge to support the PW Space Organization. Be responsible for data analysis supporting the program as well as applying operational and lean acumen to deliver critical national defense products on-time with the upmost quality.</p><p></p><p><b>Security Clearance:</b></p><p>This position requires an active U.S. <b>Top Secret/SCI</b> Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization, including an efficient Small Satellite capability standup and production readiness</li><li>Support Proprietary Space proposal bids, campaigns, and programs</li><li>Execute production readiness reviews to enable successful production start; bring enterprise and PW best practices such as Start Right to PW Space activities</li><li>Support the overall PW operations operating rhythm and functional initiatives including, but not limited to, FODS standards/best practices and One Boeing Production System deployment.</li><li>Proactively identify issues that impede business group success and providing solutions/recommendations</li><li>Leads and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts. Develops an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment. Applies and integrates improvement processes and tools across the extended enterprise. Leads the development of new improvement tools. Benchmarks best practices. Leads and facilitates the improvement and standardization of enterprise policies and procedures. Participates in the business acquisition, offset or proposal process. Assesses business capability and capacity. Represents the LEAN improvements function in program reviews.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree with a technical or business background </li><li>8+ years of operations/manufacturing experience </li><li>5+ years experience implementing lean practices</li><li>3+ years of strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams</li><li>3+ years experience as a systems thinker, able to manage a high degree of complexity</li><li>3+ years experience with strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build trust as well as influence and foster relationships with diverse team members</li><li>Passion and drive to help foster a culture of efficiency and high performance; candidate should show a desire to make the work environment both productive and fun for self and peers</li><li>Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance; self-starter and highly organized</li><li>Previous leadership experience in a production/operations environment</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Masters Degree is preferable</li><li>Program Management Skills - Strong project management and the ability to lead multiple high-profile projects simultaneously</li><li>Engineering background, specifically in space operations</li><li>Space domain experience is preferred</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education/Experience:</b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation</b>:</p><p>This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. </p><p></p><p><b>Drug Free Workplace:</b></p><p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. </p>
