<p>The Boeing Company is seeking a <b>E-4B</b> <b>Mid-Level Customer Support Engineer</b> to join our Boeing Global Services Commercial Derivative Service Engineering organization, which provides engineering support services to the Air Force for their fleet of E-4B aircraft. This position is located in <b>Oklahoma City, Oklahoma</b>. As a Customer Support Engineer for this organization, you will be part of a team providing engineering support to the Air Force to help maintain and sustain their fleet of Boeing aircraft. The successful candidate will resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Reliability and maintainability analysis, logistics analysis, statistical analysis, substitute parts analysis, market research and system/part sustainability analysis, and database improvements and/or updates</p></li><li><p>Provide solutions intended to improve system performance and increase operational availability;</p></li><li><p>Lead projects, perform research, and develop solutions to resolve Program issues;</p></li><li><p>Participate and occasionally lead teams to resolve a wide range of technical and operational issues associated with in-service aircraft, depot maintenance, and repair;</p></li><li><p>Ensure configuration control is maintained for the aircraft;</p></li><li><p>Participate in a multi-disciplined team to ensure customer contractual requirements are met.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</b></p><p><b>An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics</p></li><li><p>3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications, and/or specifications</p></li><li><p>Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product life cycle</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Typical Education/Experience: </b></p><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p><p></p><p></p>
