<p>The Boeing Company's <b><b>Ground Support Equipment</b></b> teams in <b><b>St. Charles, Missouri</b></b> have an immediate opening for an experienced <b><b>Design and Analysis Engineer 2 - Support Equipment</b></b>. This individual will work in a team environment to develop test and repair capability for a wide variety of avionics and/or weapon systems. This organization develops and maintains a wide range Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and analysis tools for numerous aircraft and weapons programs. Our equipment and software is used to support all phases of platform/weapon development: demonstration, production, field support, and depot repair.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li><p>System requirements analysis and development</p></li><li><p>System test requirements analysis and development interface design</p></li><li><p>Schematic analysis and design</p></li><li><p>Interface hardware design</p></li><li><p>Test software analysis</p></li><li><p>Hardware/software integration</p></li><li><p>System selloff/verification</p></li><li><p>Researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs</p></li><li><p>Support of problem resolution associated with fielded hardware and software over the entire product life-cycle</p></li><li><p>The selected candidate should possess knowledge and/or experience with electrical hardware design and analysis.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with standard electronic laboratory test equipment and troubleshooting practices is required. </p></li><li><p>Experience related to circuit analysis and simulation, RF design/analysis, and microprocessor/FPGA design and utilization are preferred.</p></li><li><p>This position requires the ability to work within a fast paced team environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills are essential as contact with Program Management, internal and external customer representatives, and other development teams and disciplines is required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p></p><p><b>Export Control Requirement:</b></p><p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. <b>Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or similar.</p></li><li><p>Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</p></li><li><p>Experience with circuit analysis and design</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Although primarily a hardware assignment, this position does require the ability to interface with various software.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with C++/C# and software development tools/debuggers is a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position does not offer relocation.
