We provide a broad range of acquisition project and sustainment services including systems engineering, mission systems development, ground systems development, aircraft modification support, product support and training. </p> <p>As a result of recent contract awards from these three customers, and further international growth prospects, we are now seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Williamtown arm of our team. The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager and leader, with high level business acumen, digital literacy and systems thinking skills, who is looking for challenges in the dynamic and fast paced AEW&C project environment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <li>Ensure successful delivery of assigned minor projects and elements of major projects by leading project teams and managing project scope, cost, schedule, risks, issues, opportunities, changes, reporting and communications</li><li>Work closely with the AEW&C International program leadership team, project staff, capability managers, and customer stakeholders to ensure project success and project integration across the AEW&C business environment</li><li>Lead and support assigned AEW&C International proposal and change activities</li><li>Provide engagement with the Boeing and Commonwealth E-7A community at Williamtown on projects of mutual interest</li><li>Lead and support project management improvement efforts, working with customer, program and business stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrate innovative and strategic thinking to ensure both the project and the wider AEW&C International program deliver successful outcomes for customers</li></ul> <p><strong>Experience/Qualifications</strong></p> <li>Extensive experience (10 yrs+) working in complex project environments </li><li>Experience in project management of minor projects or elements of major projects</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted industry project management standards</li><li>Familiarity with contracts, PM and engineering change processes</li><li>High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders</li><li>Formal tertiary qualifications in a STEM, business or management field</li></ul> <p>Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and will be expected to obtain an NV1 security clearance.</p> <p><strong>About us</strong></p> <p>Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
