<p>This is a new Administrative Assistant position on the Boeing C-17 Home Station Check maintenance team based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.</p><p><br />The successful candidate will support administrative and technical operations by performing various duties requiring knowledge of organization systems and procedures.</p><p><br />This includes;</p><ul><li><p>Compiling data and posting information to various electronic information systems as needed; verifying the accuracy of data and managing information in required databases.</p></li><li><p>Review and approve requests for access to routine non-sensitive data sources.</p></li><li><p>Create drafts and final documents using multiple software tools, review and approve internal and routine documents and coordinate and facilitate important or sensitive communications on behalf of the organization and management.</p></li><li><p>Coordinates with customers, management and other organization groups to resolve technical and administrative issues and interacts frequently with internal and external personnel and customers.</p></li><li><p>Perform administrative tasks that support the operation of the organization, including supporting multiple and concurrent activities, providing guidance to program management, analysing and interpreting customer reporting requirements and evaluating system controls to measure regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p>Maintains a working knowledge of organization and discipline practices, budget and planning methodologies, training methods and audit methodologies.</p></li></ul><p><br />Qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li><p>Must have worked in the Defence sector</p></li><li><p>Must have worked in an Administration Assistant role supporting military operations</p></li><li><p>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to retain composure and flexibility under pressure.</p></li><li><p>Intermediate computing skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.</p></li><li><p>Qualified to A Level or equivalent experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>All information provided will be checked and may be verified.</p><p></p><p>Important information regarding this requisition: This position does not have sponsorship approval.
