<p><strong>Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is looking for a Senior Principal DevOps Systems Engineer to join their team.</strong></p><p><strong>Job Description/Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Development of CI/CD Build and Deployment Pipelines<ul><li>Write/modify Jenkins-based groovy scripts</li><li>Write/update CloudFormation scripts</li><li>Troubleshoot pipeline issues across Jenkins and AWS Environments (Linux EC2, RDS, Cloudformation, ElasticSearch Service, etc)</li><li>Document key features for developer use</li><li>Help write and maintain scripts for process improvements (ex: stage/unstage builds, branch tag automation, automating variance corrections across networks)</li><li>Help with automate the transition from our release 1 installation mindset to the release n+1 upgrade mindset</li></ul></li><li>Integrate tools into the pipeline<ul><li>Work with the development teams to bring in new microservices into the pipeline. Helping troubleshoot as necessary.</li><li>Work through steps to automate installations of COTS products into the Architecture</li></ul></li><li>Debugging integration issues<ul><li>Helping identify issues in the deployment (i.e. potentially intermittent connectivity issues from an API Server to the Database)</li><li>Monitor (and help develop scripts to monitor) the AWS services to ensure everything is functioning as necessary</li></ul></li><li>DevOps Tool Integration<ul><li>Help integrate with various tools for the DevOps process (SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, Artifactory, etc)</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications/Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph</li><li>Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of experience</li><li>Strong scripting experience such as Bash, Python and Groovy</li><li>Knowledge of Jenkins UI and job execution</li><li>Self-starter that is able to work independently to resolve issues</li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills</li><li>AWS experience especially with CloudFormation scripts</li><li>Ability to debug complex problems to find a resolution</li><li>Software development background is a plus</li><li>Fundamental understanding of DevSecOps ideals. Experience with the various tools (SonarQube, Robot Framework, etc. a plus)</li><li>Git experience required</li><li>Working knowledge of Linux Environments</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably Java</li><li>Experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions</li><li>Experience with Chef, Ansible, or Terraform for automation and configuration</li><li>Experience integrating Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Basic understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform</li></ul> <p>BI&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
