<p>Boeing Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) is currently seeking a <b>Deputy Fire Chief Operations Manager </b>to join their team in Auburn, WA. </p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one security or fire protection discipline including industrial security operations, fire protection operations, uniformed security operations, fire protection engineering, investigations, access administration, emergency preparedness, automated-information security systems, education and training and special projects</p></li><li><p>Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals</p></li><li><p>Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements</p></li><li><p>Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports</p></li><li><p>Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes</p></li><li><p>Manages, develops and motivates employees</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.</b></b></p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Hazardous Materials Incident Commander certified</p></li><li><p>Must be certified as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF)</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid state drivers license</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree or higher </p></li><li><p>10+ years of experience as a full time/career firefighter </p></li><li><p>Experience with building and fire codes, modern fire prevention principles, procedures and equipment</p></li><li><p>Experience with Security & Fire Protection or uniformed security policies, procedures, disciplines and requirements</p></li><li><p>Experience working with bargaining unit/hourly union employees</p></li><li><p>Experience with interpretation and application of Fire Codes (NFPA, IBC, IFC, NAS3306)</p></li><li><p>Confined Space Rescue training and experience </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
