<p>Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for <b><b>Electrical Engineering System Design Engineer for Support Equipment </b></b>to join their team in <b><b>Fort Walton Beach, FL. </b></b>Engineering Services is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of support equipment for a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft - everything from F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets to V-22 rotorcraft. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.</p><p><br /><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide real-time operational support and technical expertise in the testing and troubleshooting of a variety of avionics</p></li><li><p>Designs, acquires, coordinates set-up, provides training and produces test procedures needed to successfully overhaul and repair electronic components.</p></li><li><p>Prepares technical documents for electrical components and systems.</p></li><li><p>Develops, reviews, analyzes, and maintains software in support of testing avionics.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)</b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Export Control Requirement:</b></b></p><p>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. <b><b>Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.</b></b></p><p></p><p><b>BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience</p></li><li><p>You are actively exploring new tech because you are genuinely motivated to learn and grow as an engineer. Thus, you will either have experience in some of this stuff, or youll be hungry to get experience in our stack, which is built on: C and C++ code, ATLAS, National Instruments LabView, TestStand, LabWindows and more.</p></li><li><p>You are a team player, working well with others toward a common goal. Some examples of the technologies we currently use include (but are by no means limited to):</p><ul><li><p>VXI instruments</p></li><li><p>Automated Test Equipment</p></li><li><p>Test Program Sets</p></li><li><p>1553</p></li><li><p>Communication protocols used include ARINC 1553 and 429, RS422, RS485, RS232, and several proprietary protocols.</p></li><li><p>Test Equipment included IEEE instruments with VXI instruments. Relays, DMM, Waveform Analyzer, electronic and resistor loads, serial bus emulators, Digital Test Instruments and Oscilloscopes</p></li><li><p>Occasional travel (10%) may be required in support of the program and customer.</p><p></p><p><b>Typical Education & Experience: </b><br />Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).</p><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b></p><p>This position does not offer relocation.
