About this role

<p>The Boeing Company is seeking an <b>Experienced Procurement Agent 3</b> in <b>Sacramento, CA</b>. The position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.</p></li><li><p>Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.</p></li><li><p>Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.</p></li><li><p>Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.</p></li><li><p>Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Shift:</b> Full Time Day Shift</p><p></p><p><b>Security Clearance: </b>This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret US Security Clearance and pass polygraph post-start, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.</p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes</p></li><li><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field</p></li><li><p>Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project</p></li><li><p>Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired</p></li><li><p>Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices</p></li><li><p>Ability to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed role</p></li><li><p>Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Typical Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.). Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Relocation:</b> This position is located in a location that does <b>not</b> offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.</p><p></p><p><b>Export Control: </b> The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.
