About this role
<p><strong>AeroProfessional are delighted to be able to offer a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in the continued growth of the fastest growing aviation hub in Europe, Istanbul Airport.<br /> <br /> This role, which is a full time role based at Istanbul airport requires a relocation to Istanbul which will be supported. You will receive an excellent NET salary and other company benefits.<br /> <br /> You will have responsibility to develop Istanbul Airport to become the “Centre of World Aviation”. Ideally, you will already have been or currently in a similar role at another major international airport (preferably in Asia) and be experienced in B2B international sales with the likes of local flag carriers, foreign airlines, travel agencies and tour operators – ensuring a focus on developing inbound and outbound air traffic.<br /> <br /> In order to succeed in this role, you must have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to relate to a multitude of complex challenges simultaneously.</strong></p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Relevant academic background with a degree in sales/marketing or economics preferred</strong></li> <li><strong>Clear record of success in B2B sales position with International focus on airline route development</strong></li> <li><strong>Strong background in and understanding of aviation industry and travel trade</strong></li> <li><strong>Fluent in English</strong></li> <li><strong>Fluency in an Asian Language highly desirable</strong></li> </ul>
