<p align="center"><strong>About the role and our team</strong></p> <p>Join our team as a Head of Safety, Compliance and Emergency Planning at the Isle of Man Airport, within the Department of Infrastructure on the Isle of Man!</p> <p>Within this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of safety, compliance and quality assurance oversight of all the airport services, through management of resources and assets within the Safety and Compliance team.</p> <p>You will provide advice and support on all safety, compliance and quality assurance issues, ensuring that standards and statutory legislation are applied. As well as this, you will support the ambitious growth plans at the airport, by developing a team which can support the increasing flexibility a larger airport will bring.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ol> <li>Leading, motivating and inspiring a just safety culture Working closely with stakeholders, business partners, control authorities and regulators Strategically manage safety training through the engagement of key staff, at all levels and groups Carrying out emergency planning activities Providing professional advice on all matters relating to safety, compliance and quality assurance as well as environment management Developing robust auditing systems and processes, as well as generating and reviewing safety cases Carrying out planned development and learning activities that raise awareness, motivate and build individual capability</li> </ol> <p>We are looking for someone with significant airport experience and excellent communication skills, who can act as a positive leader for the corporate ethos of continuous improvement, ensuring that the Airport delivers consistently high standards of safety and compliance.</p> <p align="center"><strong>What can this role offer me?</strong></p> <p>You can take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for personal and professional development.
