<p><b>Air Taffic Safety Electronic Personnel - DWC</b></p> <p><b>Make a difference every day</b></p> <p>The Job Opportunity</p> <p>Based in Al Maktoum Airport, the ATSEP is to maintain availability and integrity through planned and preventative maintenance of all ATE or ATM systems and equipment at Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) International Airports and Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) by employing the policy, procedures and processes detailed within the CNS Exposition and CNS Operations Manual ensuring minimal disruption to the ATS Operation.</p> <p>Key accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Carry out maintenance of CNS/ATM systems and equipment at DXB, DWC or EFTA in accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations and the processes and procedures contained in the CNS Exposition and Operations Manual</li> <li>Perform Level 1 and 2 scheduled maintenance assigned by Shift Team Leader or Specialist Engineer (Subject to possession of type rating). Note: in the absence of specific type rating, individuals with group rating may work supervised by an individual with specific type rating</li> <li>Perform unscheduled maintenance and fault rectification assigned by Shift Team Leader or Specialist Engineer (Subject to possession of type rating)</li> <li>Ensure all documentation for maintenance activities are completed in accordance with the processes and procedures contained in the CNS Operations Manual as well as comply with dans Safety and Quality Management System</li> <li>Take an active role in ensuring ATES processes and procedures are as efficient and effective as possible</li> <li>Take an active role in the completion of all CNS Safety Objectives</li> </ul> <p>What we are looking for in our candidates:</p> <ul> <li>Hold and able to maintain Personal airport driving permit (ADP) relevant to the local airports</li> <li>Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues</li> <li>Good communication and organizational skills</li> <li>The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams</li> <li>Knowledge of ATC and other customer procedures</li> <li>Knowledge of all Safety Objectives</li> </ul> <p>Specific requirements</p> <ul> <li>A holder of Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma in Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or a Training Establishment</li> <li>Experience in a CNS/ATM maintenance environment</li> <li>Experience operating basic and advanced test and measuring instrumentation</li> <li>Current Level 1 and Level 2 certificates of competency on CNS/ATM systems or equipment that meet international or national regulatory standards</li> <li>Up to date knowledge of GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations</li> <li>Technical knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Radar, ATM and other Airport Systems</li> </ul> <p>Working with Serco</p> <p>At Serco, not only is the nature of the work we do important, everyone has important role to play.  </p> <p><a href="https://www.serco.com/me" rel="no-follow">https://www.serco.com/me</a></p> <p>We are a team of 50,000 people responsible for delivering essential public services around the world in areas including defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare and citizen services.
