<p><b>Operational Safety &amp; Change Specialist</b></p> <p><b>Make a difference every day</b></p> <p>The Job Opportunity</p> <p>To provide specialist ATS technical/operational knowledge to project sponsors including management of change issues in order to ensure all required safety case/assessment and risk assessment processes are correctly and accurately completed in line with published dans processes.</p> <p>Key accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Produce CNS/ATC safety assessments/cases to ensure that all equipment and / or procedure changes are implemented in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with internationally accepted safety management and GCAA requirements</li> <li>Liaise with Project sponsors to ensure effective development of the documentation for all CNS/ATC safety assessments/cases in compliance with DIMS, SMM, GCAA, CAR and AMC requirements</li> <li>Facilitate or participate in HAZID activities and safety assessments for Management of Change processes as required</li> <li>Review other department’s safety/risk assessments to ensure all changes are implemented in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with dans internal and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Review and provide guidance on CNS Technical and ATC Operational safety documentation</li> <li>Assist in the periodic review, maintenance and updating of procedures and manuals required for support of Technical CNS and Operational ATC safety assessments in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>What we are looking for in our candidates:</p> <ul> <li>Fluency in written and spoken English is essential</li> <li>Excellent communication and organisational skills</li> <li>Computer literacy with MS office packages skills</li> <li>Attention to details and analytical skills</li> <li>Problem solving and decision making</li> </ul> <p>Specific requirements</p> <ul> <li>Operational Air Traffic Engineer or Air Traffic Control experience from a major complex international airport.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge and experience of Aviation Safety Management System</li> <li>Experience writing and developing safety assessments/cases</li> <li>An understanding of the principles of Information Security including Information Security Risk Management</li> <li>Degree / Diploma Holder in Aviation Safety Management</li> <li>Holder of Basic and Advanced Safety Management Systems Certificate / Qualification</li> </ul> <p>Working with Serco</p> <p>At Serco, not only is the nature of the work we do important, everyone has important role to play. &nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://www.serco.com/me" rel="no-follow">https://www.serco.com/me</a></p> <p>We are a team of 50,000 people responsible for delivering essential public services around the world in areas including defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare and citizen services.
