<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/Y2hhcmxvdHRlLmNoYXJtYW4uNjI0MjEuNDI0QGZhc3RzdHJlYW0uYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif" rel="no-follow" /><br /><p><strong>GOOSE recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established fixed wing operator based in the Channel Islands.</strong></p><p>Our exclusive client are currently recruiting for a Safety Officer to work within their dynamic flight, ground and maintenance safety environments by supporting operations with the analysis of safety data, the role encompasses all elements of the Safety Management System (SMS).</p><p><strong>Essential Skills/Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Must hold the rights to live and work in Guernsey.</li><li>Strong computer knowledge.</li><li>Inquiring mind.</li><li>Ability to operate independently.</li><li>Skilled in change management.</li><li>Ability to deliver training across all areas of the business.</li><li>Calm compassionate communication skills and ability to manage confidential data/information.</li><li>Maintain Balanced decision-making attitude to incident investigation.</li><li>Able to carry out face to face investigatory meetings without making conclusions without all the facts.</li><li>Understanding of Just Culture How and Why it must be applied correctly.</li><li>Good use of company systems, including Microsoft office suit, Centrik FDM etc</li><li>Flexibility to attend incidents including being part of the Emergency Response Team when required.</li><li>Contactable out of hours.</li><li>Experience of data analysis.</li><li>Presentation skills.</li><li>Able to deal with all levels of personnel and management</li><li>Interest in aviation / safety.</li><li>Investigation skills and report writing.</li></ul><p><strong>Note-</strong> This role will require candidates to relocate to Guernsey.</p><p>Competitive benefits are on offer for the successful candidate!</p><p><strong>All applications will be handled in the strictest confidence and unless you hear from us within 10 days of your application, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.</strong></p>
