Daily management of repair & warranty quotes, open order books, upkeep of information input to the TRAX System. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Repair and warranty control and management and the procurement of aircraft parts, material and tooling to support aircraft operations, ensuring lean, efficient and cost effective measures are utilised. </p><p> </p><ul><li>Initiating and oversight and processing of vendor repair & warranty orders from OEM's & MRO's.</li><li>Assessing quote price based on work scope, pricing agreements, historical data, highlighting any anomalies immediately.</li><li>Overseeing contractual agreements to ensure suppliers and meeting agreed terms and assisting in the ongoing negotiation of contracts and of service level agreements with suppliers.</li><li>Challenge any quotes that seem discrepant based on process guidance, training given.</li><li>Approve quotes in line with company sign off approvals, seeking approval when pricing is above your sign off limit.</li><li>Send responses to vendors, updating the TRAX system, adding comments, linking quotes & additional information.</li><li>Expediting of orders as & when necessary, upon escalation from the Operations Desk, Workshops, AOG Desk.</li><li>Open Order Book reconciliation, updating TRAX with vendor responses, order acknowledgements.</li><li>Co-coordinate and lead Supplier Quarterly Reviews, challenging supplier performance against agreed measures.</li><li>Monitor "TRAX" Repair Order Data take action to improve turn-around times, rectify issues.</li><li>Working closely with Fleet Support and Maintrol teams to ensure repairs are completed on time in order to protect operational needs.</li><li>Working with Finance to ensure materials warranty claims are processed when appropriate </li><li>Response & closure of Technical Assists that arise from repair & warranty management in a timely manner.</li><li>Liaise with remote stores to ensure free flow of components to & from vendor base.</li><li>Responsible for tracking of components to vendors & their return until they are goods received.</li><li>Measure cost savings generated over the course of any given 12-month period.</li><li>Re-validation on certification expiries of OEM's, MRO's, approved component suppliers.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with vendors, through daily or weekly oral, written communications.</li><li>Supply forecast removal information on Life Expiry parts to vendors, assists spares provisioning.</li><li>To provide out-of-hours support for urgent materials requirements. Some night work necessary but can be from home)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrates experience in the management of repairs and in successful negotiation and oversight of service level agreements</li><li>Negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to work to timescales in a calm methodical manner.</li><li>Team player</li><li>Experience in dealing with material suppliers, logistics providers, forwarders and maintenance organisations. </li><li>5 years Experience with aviation (preferably with airline experience).</li><li>Understanding repair and purchasing processes</li><li>TRAX experience</li><li>Understanding Part M and Part 145 requirements</li><li>Knowledge of Aircraft, IPC's, CMM's and other types of documentation</li><li>Knowledge of aircraft materials paperwork requirements</li></ul><p><strong>You must have the right to live and work in the UK.</strong></p><p><strong>All applications will be handled in the strictest confidence and unless you hear from us within 10 days of your application, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.</strong></p>
