The B1 LAE must hold a valid unrestricted EASA Part 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least a B300 / PT6A Type Rating<br /><br />The B1 LAE must also be prepared to travel &amp; work flexibly. They must have strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.<br /><br />To comply with company contractual obligations, it will be necessary for any successful applicant to pass further security clearances, be of UK National status and hold a UK Passport &amp; full driving licence.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Main Responsibilities include:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>In conjunction with the Cat C engineer; carry out scheduled Shadow Base maintenance activities in the UK and overseas and provide certification of own work alongside supervision and certification of unlicensed engineers work</li><li>Support of AOG enquires</li><li>Updating of aircraft asset tracking on MoD system (Training can be provided).</li><li>Provide 145 maintenance training needs (company paperwork and procedures, Engine Ground Run competency assessments, ongoing re-approval competency assessments and initial authorisation competency reviews) to the customers personnel working in conjunction with the Engineering manager and Training Manager</li><li>Work within the Fleet Management Office and assist as necessary with the goal to provide Serviceable assets on Operations</li><li>Compliance with Company Maintenance Organisation Exposition and published processes and procedures ensuring part 145 compliance</li><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures, processes and COSHH are observed at all times both personally and by those under supervision</li><li>Ensuring that their day to day housekeeping is kept to a high standard</li><li>Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Hours: </strong>40 hours per week average with occasional additional hours to meet the needs of the business.<br /><br /><strong>Primary Facilities: </strong>UK and International visits as required.<br /><br /><strong>Company Benefits include:</strong> Private Healthcare, Smart Pension, Life Assurance, Income Protection, Travel Insurance.</p><p><strong><em>You must have the rights to live and work in the UK for this role.</em></strong></p><p><br /> <strong>Due to the volume of applications received, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
