<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Preferably hold a Degree in Bachelor of Science in any of the following discipline: Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering; or</li> <li>Must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic/Engineer Licence or Airman’s Certificate in Airframe and Powerplant or Avionics Category issued by a Contracting State to the ICAO;</li> <li>Have at least a minimum of 10 years experience in any aircraft operators’ maintenance organisations, 3 years of which have been served in supervisory capacity; or 5 years of continuous service as an Airworthiness Inspector or equivalent position in a National Aviation Authority;</li> <li>Have completed an ICAO recognised specialised courses in airworthiness; operator’s certification; continuing airworthiness, aircraft accident investigation and internationally recognised audit techniques;</li> <li>Have completed at least two of the manufacturer’s recognised type training or general familiarisation courses on aeroplanes of the types registered in Qatar;</li> <li>Must have working knowledge of ICAO Annexes and relevant Documents, US FARs and EASA IRs;</li> <li>Have acceptable experience in aircraft incident/accident investigation;</li> <li>Proficiency in written and oral communication of technical English language; and</li> <li>Computer literate.</li> </ul>
