About this role
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>5 years experience of operational management at a medium to large sized certified international aerodrome or of aerodrome oversight</li> <li>Proven familiarity with the process and requirements for issue/renewal of certificate to aerodrome in line with applicable national and international standards</li> <li>Sound and practical knowledge of national and international standards, procedures and practices, related to aerodrome infrastructure, administration, operations and maintenance</li> <li>Specialised experience typically in SMS and hazard / risk management and assessment, aircraft operations, aerodrome management, aerodrome and/or air traffic management infrastructure, relevant aerodrome engineering disciplines</li> <li>Wide knowledge of aviation matters with relevant experience and qualifications, typically practical experience in aerodrome operators oversight, aerodrome operations, rescue and firefighting, aircraft (fixed wing or rotary) operations, ATM, aerodrome engineering</li> <li>Relevant professional qualification or industry equivalent;</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Other qualifications and skills</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Professional Higher Education or equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience in a multi-cultural environment an asset</li> <li>Experience in development, implementation and auditing procedures</li> <li>Preferably, experience of working in a regulatory environment</li> <li>Preferably, governmental experience on the processes of safety management and oversight over these, preferably by a state safety program</li> <li>Appropriate skill levels and experience in SMS, risk assessment and project management</li> <li>As far as possible, as qualified as the personnel to be inspected or supervised</li> <li> Have knowledge of Aerodromes Qatari, EASA aviation regulations or ICAO Specifications</li> <li> English level C1: Effective operational proficiency or advanced</li> <li> Familiar with Windows and MS office (word, excel, power point)</li> <li> Good judgment and decision-making skills</li> <li> Interviewing communication skills in a multi-cultural environment</li> <li> Negotiating with outstanding interpersonal influencing skills</li> <li> Possess excellent report writing skills</li> <li> Presenting with personal presence and credibility</li> <li> Process auditing both regulatory and corporate</li> </ul>
