About this role

<p><strong>Maintenance Controller / Planner&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Controller / Planner to be based at Retford Gamston Airport on a permanent basis.&nbsp;</p> <p>As a Maintenance Controller / Planner, you will be responsible for planning and controlling aircraft maintenance to maximise the operational utilisation of the fleet and customers' aircraft.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Creating, maintaining, and publishing the long-term maintenance plan (0 to 12 months) that meets operational needs while maximising yield, reducing costs, and providing maximum aircraft availability.</li> <li>Planning and scheduling both short- and long-term maintenance requirements, time-limited component changes and initiating corrective actions for AOGs or regulatory ADs / replacements.</li> <li>Acting as a single point of contact for coordination with designated maintenance service providers to ensure aircraft requiring maintenance tasks are properly planned for and delivered.</li> <li>Monitoring inspection interval utilisation, communicating and resolving potential scheduling with operations teams, providing feedback on fleet compliance and inspection programs.</li> <li>Developing and implementing continuous improvement to the maintenance programme.</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a Part 145 or Part M environment, preferably within a planning role, is desirable.</li> <li>Good knowledge of Technical Services (CAMO &amp; Part 145) internal processes.</li> <li>Good knowledge of Regulatory Part M and Part 145 requirements.</li> <li>Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Self-motivating and accurate with strong planning and organisational skills and ability to set clear priorities.</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in this job opportunity then please apply now by emailing your CV to emma.race@resourcegroup.co.uk.</p>
