<p>CAE Parc Aviation is the global leader in the provision of resourcing and technical services to the aviation industry.</p><p>We are actively seeking for a <strong>Fleet Principal Engineer </strong>in Ireland on behalf of an airline operator. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for career progression and self-development.</p><p>The purpose of the role is to ensure that all the fleet engineering is performed on time and to the approved standard.</p><p><strong> Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>Study, analyse, and seek solutions to problems related to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, modification, or repair of aircraft or engines, and their components; use a structured, logical and analytical approach in problem solving</p><p>Define maintenance program for the assigned fleet, monitor its effectiveness in light of operating experience. Oversee any subcontracted activity related to maintenance program and its execution through review of work packages. Define and manage configuration and serviceability criteria ensuring safe and compliant operations</p><p>Evaluate the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance; evaluate the benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision to ensure an optimum balance of cost, asset utilisation, quality, and reliability</p><p>Author, design, test, and manage projects; provide on-site technical support for line and base operations; communicate with customers and providers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations</p><p>Interface with internal and external organisations regarding specific aircraft, power plant, and component issues; organise and manage the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplish the work processes to meet all the deliverables for projects or maintenance program changes/technical specification revisions</p><p>Co-ordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency</p><p>Co-ordinate and support aircraft induction and aircraft end of lease or retirement within the assigned fleet team</p><p>Manage projects to include developing solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis</p><p>Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process</p><p><strong> Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering, or Part 66 licence, or equivalent experience</p><p>Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of fleet aircraft systems</p><p>Fluent in English</p><p>Proficient in MS Office and relevant packages</p><p>General familiarisation on the aircraft/engine type or a similar aircraft of the same type</p><p><strong> Experience:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>Experience related to detailed cost/benefit analysis of projects as well as effectively engaging cross-functional stakeholders</p><p>3 years' experience in aviation environment in a CAMO organisation</p><p>Hands on experience in Line and/or Base maintenance is desired</p><p>Familiarity with Airbus/Boeing documentation and systems and with Maintenance Information Systems (e.g. AMOS/TRAX or similar)</p><p>"CAE Parc Aviation is an Equal Opportunities Employer.</p><p>Personal data provided by applicants will be used strictly in accordance with our personal data policy.
