A strong, dynamic, international multicultural team will be working across the globe on their roadmap and growing aggressively for the next 10 years. </p> <p><strong>What is our client looking for? </strong></p> <p>The position of Head of Engineering and Manufacturing bears great responsibility and plays one of the key roles in the company’s engineering and manufacturing spirit in Europe. Hence, we are looking for a talented, strong dynamic, hands-on, adaptable, flexible, and accountable leader, who also has an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive in their communication and interaction. Somebody that the company can count on for contribution, willingness to go the extra mile to do what is required, to grow, to progress, and to find solutions - so that together with the team to achieve the company’s mission and vision as laid out in the roadmap. </p> <p> </p> <p>The Head of Engineering and Manufacturing will lead one of the most crucial teams in the company. They will take accountability for the production of the company’s prototype aircrafts and the quality control systems of the airline’s manufacturing team. the Head of Engineering and Manufacturing would be leading a team of 50+ people, while role-modelling the company’s culture and nurturing a high engagement and productivity environment. </p> <p><strong>Remuneration + Benefits:  </strong></p> <ul> <li>Attractive Salary up to EUR100,000 </li> <li>A permanent position that carries an attractive executive compensation package + international health insurance + Annual Holiday + Pension.  </li> <li>Lots of opportunities and responsibilities for personal and professional growth on a global level.  </li> <li>A dynamic, inspiring, open-minded, politic-free  working environment, that allows you to be creative and freely contribute your ideas to the company.    </li> <li>The team is driven to make a global impact and reshape the future of the airfreight industry.  </li> <li>This role will initially be based in Europe (Company’s head office) and business travel is an essential part of the role </li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for manufacturing team efficiency, productivity and compliance standards. </li> <li>Improving processes by following new technologies and materials. </li> <li>Understanding technical needs, coming up with solutions. </li> <li>Creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures. </li> <li>Planning continuous improvement activities. </li> <li>Providing technical support by working with relevant departments in investment projects. </li> <li>Designing strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources. </li> <li>Monitoring cost reduction and improvement projects. </li> <li>Supporting evaluation and assessment of new products, processes and industry trends that can or have the potential to impact the business strategies. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>EU citizens or eligible to work in Europe without any restriction</li> <li>Experience in similar positions of manufacturing companies. </li> <li>Engineering degree or equivalent work experience is desirable. </li> <li>Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S. </li> <li>Strong process management experience as well as R&D know-how. </li> <li>Broad working knowledge of understanding of composites manufacturing is a plus </li> <li>Demonstrates a spirit of learning, coaching, and continuous improvement. </li> <li>Demonstrates a practical mindset by spending significant time on the factory floor. </li> <li>System design and development, openness to innovation and change. </li> </ul> <p><strong>A Note on COVID 19 Vaccination</strong> </p> <p>It is the intention of the Group to require employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and this is being explored in all our international locations </p> <p>If you are qualified and interested in knowing more about this position, please share your latest CV and write a motivational letter to Julie Tran  so that helps us recognise you ARE THE RIGHT FIT for this exciting opportunity. </p> <p> </p>
