These superb positions are matched by being located in a special area of great beauty in the famous Bundesland Bacaria:</p> <p><a href="https://www.guide-to-bavaria.com/en/Manching-Travel-Vacation-Hotel.html" rel="no-follow">Manching, Bavaria: Online Travel Guide to Manching (guide-to-bavaria.com)</a></p> <p>As Embedded Software Engineer FCS (Flight Control System) &amp; FMS (Flight Management System) (f/m/d) the jobholder (f/m/d) has to do the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>SW development activities for real-time safety critical applications in Ada and SCADE</li> <li>Tool development (e.g. in Java, Python, C) and Tool validation + certification</li> <li>Planning and establishing of Tool-Chains and Procedures for Analysis and Unit Testing.</li> <li>Assessment of Safety Issues (e.g. code inspection, formal verification with SPARK, scripts) Participation and contribution to Software Reviews</li> <li>Formal Documentation of deliveries and of development activities Personal requirements:</li> <li>Ability to work in an international team Ability to work independently and self-motivated</li> <li>A passionate software developer with motivation and willingness to learn and specialise in all these technologies and languages</li> <li>A Team player who is enthusiastic to share knowledge, discuss and try out new things and enjoying the challenge to improve things</li> </ul> <p>Handicapped applicants with similar qualifications, will be especially considered.&nbsp;and desired?</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>IT&nbsp;/ information&nbsp;systems at least&nbsp;&nbsp;Masters / BSc&nbsp;&nbsp;or&nbsp;Embedded Systems at least&nbsp;Masters / BSc</li> </ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>IT / Information systems&nbsp;minimum&nbsp;&nbsp;1 year&nbsp;</li> <li>Good knowledge in two of the following technologies is required: Object Oriented Design, Functional Programming, Formal Verification (e.g. SPARK), Model Based Software Development, Language Workbenches, Processor Simulation, XML-Transformations with XSLT</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Languages</p> <p>English fluency,&nbsp;&nbsp;German knowledge would be beneficial</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>IT</p> <p>Very good knowledge in one of the programming languages Ada, SCADE, Python, Java is required</p> <p>Knowledge</p> <p>Experience with hardware-related programming is required Understanding the challenges of developing safety critical software and Awareness of Civil standards DO-178c and DO-330 is necessary</p>
