<p>Based at the world famous Airbus Hamburg plant, in North Germany. We are seeking 8 x Fatigue & Damage Tolerance specialists, for immediate start. This is via the German AÜG system, meaning you will receive German employment benefits including including paid holidays, sick pay and subsidised medical health care.</p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong></p> <p>The job holder (d/m/f) works as an engineer for fatigue and damage tolerance for hull components in the field of structure (development of structure dimensioning - and calculation). The employee (d/m/f) specifies, develops and delivers methods and procedures for the calculation of A350 Aircraft structures and determinations of stress analysis. Calculation and validation of composite and hybrid structures in terms of fatigue and damage tolerance Evaluation of structural experiments and structural tests (on metal structures) Provision of fatigue calculations for the repair or acceptance of damaged ones structures Ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, Processes, methods and policies regarding manufacturing capabilities Interface support and communication with the relevant departments involved, such as construction and engineering</p> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <p>The ability to quickly recognize and understand technical relationships and functionalities analyse Independent, structured and result-oriented work in order to achieve goals on schedule achieve and coordinate work processes efficiently Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels to work together</p> <p>You should ideally have have at least 3 years Airbus (or equivalent) experience</p> <p>Ideally you should know ISSY and PRIMES</p> <p>Languages: English and ideally German</p> <p>You will need a EU Passport or German work permit</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
