About this role
<p><strong>Doors Composite & Metallic Design Engineer (d/m/w) - A350 Freighter</strong></p> <p>How would you like to work on Europe's most advanced new Freighter Aircraft, in one of Europe's best and most liveable cities, at Europe's largest OEM, and within short drive to the North and East Seas ? If you have the talent, and wish to step up to the next level as a Designer, then we have the best design job currently available in the world.</p> <p>The job holder (d/m/f) works as a designer for door components of the structure in the A350 area<br /> freighter derivative:</p> <ul> <li>Construction (3 and 2 design) and validation of composite and hybrid components and-Assemblies that differ in terms of weight, cost, performance, production and assembly requirements need to be optimized</li> <li>Development of product improvements to construction plans</li> <li>Support in monitoring supplier activities (including concept and design acceptance)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ability to quickly recognize and understand technical relationships and functionalities analyse</li> <li>Independent, structured and result-oriented work in order to achieve goals on schedule achieve and coordinate work processes efficiently</li> <li>Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels to work together</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering<br /> may take into account!</strong></em></p> <p><br /> Expected interview dates are planned for week 12.</p> <p><strong>Educational requirements</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Design at least over 3 years with composite and hybrid design principles and design best practices</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> Catia V5 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> PDMlink A350 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> vpm at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> PASS SSCI knowledge is an advantage</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency required</strong><br /> German at least well versed (if no German, please quickly take a crash course at own expense and send the registration to us - and we will negotiate)<br /> Business fluent English<br /> Spanish an advantage</p> <p><strong>Knowledge required</strong><br /> Airbus experience an advantage</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your design experience, your availability and your present salary.
