About this role
<p><strong>AI Data Platform Developer (f/m/d)</strong></p> <p>The jobholder (d/m/f) as an AI Data Platform Developer (f/m/d)is responsible for the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Participation or leading the delivery of data engineering projects (e.g. designing the architecture of solutions, data flows, organizing a technical team, evaluating delivery model, rapidly prototyping,and building to scale).</li> <li>Driving the maturity of Data engineering and AI platforms, modules, and services that address cross-enterprise opportunities.</li> <li>Engaging and evaluating external partners (research, data engineering & ML/AI software vendors) as part of executing on project opportunities.</li> <li>Providing technical advice and leadership to Airbus stakeholders across specific data engineering domains (e.g. knowledge extraction, computer vision, advanced optimization, conversational assistance, anomaly detection). Sharing knowledge, contribute to driving change within the digital network, presentations and communications within the digital community, dissemination of best practices (patterns), etc</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team player with excellent communication skills</li> <li>Service and customer oriented person with high sense of responsibility</li> <li>High level of assertiveness</li> <li>Willingness to travel occasionally a few days per month to other locations in Europe</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Educational requirements</strong><br /> Comparable qualifications, at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Computer science at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> Java at least detailed. special skills<br /> Python at least detailed. special skills<br /> SQL at least detailed. special skills<br /> UI frameworks (Angular, React)<br /> Google collaboration tools, agile tools (e.g. Jira)<br /> Apache Hadoop tool-chain (e.g. Druid, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, airflow)<br /> Cloud infrastructure (kubernetes, openshift, docker and commercial platforms AWS, google<br /> clouds, Azura)<br /> ML tools packages like Torch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn and other open source frameworks</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least well versed<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><br /> <strong>Work experience</strong><br /> 2-5 years of experience in building software applications related to big data systems,<br /> including end-to-end pipelines for data engineering</p> <p><strong>Other requirements</strong><br /> Experience working with data engineering and software vendors, partners, or research<br /> team,<br /> Experience with software engineering and product development<br /> Know common software development patterns<br /> Understanding of big data system architectures (e.g., HDFS, Spark)<br /> Experience with Machine learning (deep learning and related methods), with good to<br /> Excellent understanding of machine learning for time series data<br /> Digital technologies and related challenges<br /> Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges,<br /> and to consult with stakeholders to advise and guide projects<br /> Programming skills in a rapid prototyping environment - ability to quickly prototype ideas, iterate, and<br /> creatively design solutions in response to business opportunities</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>EU Passport required (for excellent candidates, we can sponsor the candidate for a work permit)</p> <p>Candidates from countries at odds with western Europe should not apply, due to security requirements, but can apply if / when the situation is relaxed</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
