Subject to fully meeting our requirements, we will facilitate your relocation.</p> <p><strong>Your role</strong><br /> Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and leading a team of several professionals, you will supervise and control all maintenance activities and manage the planning and spare parts provisioning to ensure 100% dispatch reliability of our aircraft in compliance with Civil Aviation/ICAO/EASA regulations.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Your tasks</strong></p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Work in close cooperation with upper management to define and structure the Maintenance Department of our airline;</li> <li>Lead the Maintenance Department, overseeing line and base maintenance processes required to maintain the airworthiness of our fleet, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained at all times in compliance with local and international standards and regulations;</li> <li>Oversee timely compliance with the provisions of the applicable approved maintenance programs and other maintenance requirements like ADs, MSBs, Non-mandatory SBs, SILs, etc. on all our aircraft in order to assure continued aircraft airworthiness, flight safety and technical reliability;</li> <li>Ensure all maintenance records and airworthiness certificates are current, supporting the operation;</li> <li>Equip maintenance staff to competently and efficiently execute all allocated tasks;</li> <li>Liaise with external service providers, establishing and tracking Service Level Agreements in outsourced maintenance tasks;</li> <li>Evaluate activities in the department to identify risks, trends and weaknesses and submit departmental reports to Management;</li> <li>Act as ambassador for the company at key industry conferences, forums and working groups.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile</strong></p> <p>Ideally you:</p> <ul> <li>Have a BSc/MSc in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Management or equivalent</li> <li>Bring an extensive (minimum 10 years) and proven experience as Head of Maintenance for a commercial airline, airline engineering activities and ratings, with a minimum five years’ experience in a significant management role with professional engineering staff;</li> <li>You have obtained an ICAO Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license and Aircraft Engineers License EASA Part 66 or equivalent and other certificates in related functions;</li> <li>Have experience in establishing Maintenance & Engineering budgets, controlling its execution;</li> <li>Have experience in negotiating maintenance contracts with external service providers;</li> <li>Have experience working with cross-functional teams;</li> <li>Are self-motivated and focused on results with a proven ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, delegate effectively and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Display the highest level of integrity and are equipped with the initiative and curiosity to solve problems, a people and team-oriented individual and self-starter.</li> <li>Have superior written and verbal communications, decision making, problem-solving, and organizational skills essential;</li> <li>Are a proficient in the use of MS Office software</li> <li>Are fluent in English.
