About this role
<p><strong>Senior Software Developer Simulation (f/m/d) - AIRCRAFT SIMULATORS</strong></p> <p>The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a Senior Software Developer Simulation and has to do the following<br /> tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Design the architecture of software models and components for new simulator functionality</li> <li>Develop simulation models (C++) representing aircraft equipment and sub-/systems</li> <li>Create and perform unit tests of simulation models and modules (C++ / Python)</li> <li>Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators)</li> <li>Perform integration and acceptance testing</li> </ul> <p><strong>Soft skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work independently</li> <li>Analytical structured thinking</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Educational requirements</strong><br /> Computer science at least a bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Work experience</strong><strong> required</strong><br /> IT / information systems at least 4 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 4 years<br /> Experience in Software Development is required at least 3 years<br /> Experience in simulations is a plus</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Very good knowledge of C++ and Linux is a must</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least basics (those with no German should quickly registrar for online course at own expense)<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally hold any valid EU passport (if no EU passport, we offer to sponsor excellent candidates for application of a work permit.</p> <p>Those candidates from countries at odds with western Europe, will probably not have AWACS experience and for security reasons should not apply at this time, or until the situations is relaxed.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://welcome-center-germany.com/category/lifestyle/munich/" rel="no-follow">Munich - Welcome Center Germany (welcome-center-germany.com)</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Tourism-g229465-Manching_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria-Vacations.html" rel="no-follow">Manching 2022: Best of Manching, Germany Tourism - Tripadvisor</a></p>
