About this role
<p>We have a superb job available working at the famous Stade Airbus composite facility, located at the historic and wonderful town of Stade (within easy reach of the North Sea Coast). If you are serious about a career as a Stress Engineer, with this position - you will step up to the next level.</p> <p>The jobholder will work as <strong>Composite Structural Analysis Engineer (d/f/m)</strong> and is responsible for the<br /> the following tasks:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Analysis of composite and hybrid structures for static and fatigue strength according to validated methods and provide solutions for the repair and acceptance of damaged structures</li> <li>Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capability</li> <li>Be in contact with other engineering and operating disciplines to keep the products safe and production running</li> <li>Support the engineering organization to give more transparency to the internal and external stakeholders by supporting digitalization projects</li> <li>Take part in improvement projects to enable the plant to produce even better components</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Very good communication skills</li> <li>Independent, careful and conscientious way of working</li> <li>High level of service orientation in order to meet the needs of various stakeholders</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong><em>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering<br /> may take into account</em></strong></p> <p><strong>Required qualifications</strong><br /> Aircraft construction at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Technical studies at least Bachelor's degree<br /> work experience<br /> Calculation of statics at least over 4 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 4 years</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Excel at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Nastran at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Patran at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Google suite required<br /> Isami desirable</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent German (if no German take a online crash course at own expense - we will try to argue your case)<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Airbus experience an advantage</p> <p><strong>Other required qualifications</strong><br /> Interested in manufacturing composite materials/composite structures<br /> Analysis and documentation of composite and hybrid structures for static strength<br /> Analysis and documentation of damaged composite structures for static strength<br /> (NC/Concession process)<br /> Knowledge of design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your experience, your availability and your present salary.
