We are currently recruiting for Certified Lead Powerplant Mechanic/ Certified Powerplant Mechanic on behalf of a client in Middle East.</p><p><strong> Job Title: </strong> Certified Lead Powerplant Mechanic/ Certified Powerplant Mechanic</p><p><strong> Location: </strong> Jeddah, Saudi Arabia</p><p><strong> Employment: </strong> Full time / Rotation</p><p><strong> Salary: </strong> Tax-free salary + Expat package</p><p><strong> Job Summary </strong></p><p>Undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of aircraft engine and APU. Will also perform maintenance tasks of aircraft engine and APU using hand tools and power tools.</p><p><strong> Key Accountabilities </strong></p><ul> <li>Disassemble engines/APU, and inspect parts such as turbine blades and cylinders for corrosion, wear, warping, cracks, and leaks, using precision measuring instruments, x-rays, and magnetic inspection equipment.</li><li>Examine engines/APU through specially designed openings while working from ladders or scaffolds, or use hoists or lifts to remove the entire engine from an aircraft.</li><li>Remove or install aircraft engines, using hoists or forklift trucks.</li><li>Spread plastic film over areas to be repaired in order to prevent damage to surrounding areas.</li><li>Listen to operating engines/APUs to detect and diagnose malfunctions such as sticking or burned valves.</li><li>Locate and mark dimensions and reference lines on defective or replacement parts, using templates, scribes, compasses, and steel rules.</li><li>Reassemble engines following repair or inspection, and re-install engines in aircraft.</li><li>Test operation of engines and other systems, using test equipment such as ignition analyzers, compression checkers, distributor timers, and ammeters.</li><li>Clean engines, sediment bulk and screens, and carburetors.</li><li>Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.</li><li>Undertake any other functions are assigned by the immediate supervisor.</li></ul> <p><strong> Requirements </strong></p><ul> <li>For Certified Lead Powerplant Mechanic, total 10-15 Years' Experience desired and 5+ years on any CFM engine.</li><li>For Certified Powerplant Mechanic, total 5-7 Yeas' Experience desired and 3+ years on any CFM engine.</li></ul> <p>"CAE Parc Aviation is an Equal Opportunities Employer.</p><p>Personal data provided by applicants will be used strictly in accordance with our personal data policy.
