<p><strong>Systems Engineer for Moon Missions (m/f/d)</strong></p> <p>For our customer at the Bremen location, we are looking for the next possible date for a <strong>Systems<br /> Engineer for Moon Missions (m/f/d)</strong></p> <p><br /> The jobholder (m/f/d) is responsible for the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Specific tasks for the position are in interface with the Orion ESM project team and the engineering team</li> <li>Perform ESM overall design, development and qualification/certification of a product (or a family of products) to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements and program cost and schedule needs.</li> <li>Define system development logic consistent with development assurance level</li> <li>Prepare engineering decisions necessary for efficient development and production, on time delivery and customer acceptance for operation. validate architecture (using for example virtual integration techniques as necessary)</li> <li>Define and manage interfaces requirements in Interface with the I/F manager within chief engineering team</li> <li>Perform ESM operational and in-service implementation and evaluation</li> <li>Perform trade-off analysis in order to select the best system architecture fulfilling system/product requirements</li> <li>Design and define possible architectures considering the functions and other requirements (constraints)</li> <li>Perform analysis</li> <li>Perform verification of the system/product implementation and its interfaces, on the real or virtual system</li> <li>Define ad-hoc development mitigation activities with regard to development risk</li> <li>Perform impact analysis of any design change request during the entire product lifecycle</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team player with excellent communication skills</li> <li>Service and customer oriented person with high sense of responsibility</li> <li>High level of assertiveness</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants will be given special consideration if they are equally qualified.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent German<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Educational requirements</strong><br /> Master degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Experience in spacecraft thermal engineering</p> <p><strong>Required other qualifications</strong><br /> Ability to lead a large multi-national team organization in a complex project environment<br /> Experience in working with ESA and NASA highly appreciated</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you will hold a valid a EU passport, otherwise, excellent candidates may be sponsored for a work permit.
