<p>Superb position (1 only available) for talented System Simulation / Software Engineers, in South Germany, Ideal for those who are interested in learning and expanding their horizons</p> <p>The Airbus Helicopters simulation department is the competence center for<br /> Helicopter system simulations within the development department. Our task is that<br /> Development, operation and provision of simulators and simulation systems for almost<br /> all helicopter programs. With these systems we provide simulation capabilities<br /> of different kinds for various internal and external customers:</p> <ul> <li>Support of helicopter and system tests with simulations</li> <li>Validation of new concepts using simulations and simulators</li> <li>Participation in the development of full flight simulators and other training simulators</li> <li>and many other interesting applications</li> </ul> <p>Simulation is an essential part of the development of new helicopters and<br /> helicopter mission systems. Our teams work in agile and international projects with strong<br /> Focus on software engineering in an aviation related context. We have many contacts<br /> Specialist departments within Airbus Helicopters as well as to external partners, suppliers and customers.</p> <p><br /> As a simulation software/system engineer (m/f/d) you will work on modular simulation systems for a<br /> given helicopter (e.g. NH90).</p> <p><br /> The job holder works as a system simulation/software engineer (m/f/d) and will take on the following<br /> Tasks:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Development, integration and testing of real-time simulation models for systems that Map helicopter systems, with a focus on avionics and mission systems</li> <li>Connection of the simulation systems with simulators and test systems</li> <li>Preparation, integration and operation of simulators for various use cases</li> <li>Development, integration and testing of simulation systems for full flight simulators</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements</strong><br /> Ability to work in an international environment<br /> Ability to work in teams with stakeholders from different organizations</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required qualifications</strong><br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma / BSc degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / BSc degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English (German not required, but a few words with aid of online crash course desirable)</p> <p><br /> <strong>Other qualifications</strong><br /> Software development, especially in real-time software and a Linux development environment<br /> Experience in software engineering, system integration and testing<br /> Knowledge of helicopter systems and architectures<br /> Aeronautical background or strong interest in Aeronautical Engineering</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>You will need a valid EU Passport, if not available, we can help you with a Work Permit</p> <p><strong>Additional information </strong></p> <p>https://welcome-center-germany.com/category/lifestyle/munich/</p> <p>https://www.donauwoerth.de/tourismus</p> <p> </p>
