About this role
<p>In the Airbus Defense & Space Military Aircraft Simulation Domain the department is developing and<br /> integrating high fidelity engineering and training simulations for a variety of aircraft systems, supporting<br /> their entire product life cycle.</p> <p><br /> The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a<strong> Simulation Software Developer (f/m/d)</strong> and the main tasks and<br /> responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Derive system requirements or user stories from operational requirements for new simulator and synthetic environment functionalities</li> <li>Design architecture of software modules for new simulation tools or models</li> <li>Develop simulation models and tools representing the environment of the simulated aircraft system (sensors, tactical environment, communication, natural environment, visualization…)</li> <li>Develop simulation models representing aircraft equipment within the simulation</li> <li>Implement software components (mainly C++)</li> <li>Integrate in-house or external software components</li> <li>Create and perform unit tests of software modules (C++ / Python)</li> <li>Create tools for improving our development processes (e.g. code generators, autosynchronization, build-pipelines ….)</li> <li>Perform integration testing</li> <li>Document software components design</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Very good communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and self-motivated</li> <li>You are able to work in big teams and are an excellent team player</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required educational requirements</strong><br /> Electrical engineering at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Informatics at least a Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least a Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> Python at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Matlab at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Windows and Linux are required<br /> C/C++Scripting languages ??are mandatory<br /> Experience with IBM DOORS, SysML/UML architecture & tools are a plus<br /> Experience with CI/CD or DevOps tools and Scripting languages ??(e.g. bash, python) is highly<br /> appreciated</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German, Spanish and French language skills are beneficial</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Software development at least 3 years is required<br /> Software design and software testing at least 3 years is required<br /> Procedural and object oriented programming is required</p> <p><strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Knowledge of aircraft systems is required<br /> Knowledge of Agile / Lean methodologies and related tools are required</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally hold any valid EU passport (if no EU passport, we offer to sponsor excellent candidates for application of a work permit.</p> <p>Those candidates from countries at odds with western Europe, will probably not have AWACS experience and for security reasons should not apply at this time, or until the situations is relaxed.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://welcome-center-germany.com/category/lifestyle/munich/" rel="no-follow">Munich - Welcome Center Germany (welcome-center-germany.com)</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Tourism-g229465-Manching_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria-Vacations.html" rel="no-follow">Manching 2022: Best of Manching, Germany Tourism - Tripadvisor</a></p>
