<p><strong> Job Title: </strong> Aircraft Tools Custodian</p><p><strong> Reports to: </strong> Head of Base Maintenance <strong> </strong></p><p><strong> Location: </strong> Brize Norton, UK</p><p>__________________________________________________________________________________</p><p>CAE Parc aviation are currently recruiting for a renowned aviation solution provider. The company has a strong reputation of providing customers with a complete range of solutions including aircraft maintenance & modifications, technical, engineering and design services, logistics and material solutions and international training.</p><p>The company provides a range of aviation solutions including Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance, MAA Part 145 Defence Services, CAMO & Technical Services and Part 21 Design Services.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Job Purpose: </strong></p><p>Responsible and accountable for the control of all tools used within the facility, ensure all tooling is always available and serviceable, planning and organising in line with aircraft maintenance requirements.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><strong>: </strong></p><ul> <li>Monitor the tool cage and ensure inventory check of tool cage is completed.</li><li>To perform an independent toolbox check of all toolboxes and all items that are removed and returned to the tool cage.</li><li>A tool accountability check is to be carried out prior to start work at shift change and at the end of shift.</li><li>Ensure all tools are issued in accordance with current policy and procedures.</li><li>Ensure all tools correlate to their matching toolbox.</li><li>Run TC Max tool report for all aircraft in work.</li><li>Check and process order of Security tasks - when required .</li><li>Check stocks of engine oil</li><li>Be aware of aviation safety responsibilities with regards to the Safety Management Manual</li><li>Be aware of aviation security responsibilities.</li></ul> <p> </p><p><strong>Essential Skills & Qualifications: </strong></p><ul> <li>Use of IT packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Experience of working in a tool stores environment.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety requirements.</li><li>High level of attention to detail and capable of producing a consistent standard whilst performing a repetitive function.</li><li>Strong inter-personal skills.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Previous experience in an aviation environment and/or tool store environment desirable.</li><li>Dangerous Goods by Air Certificate (If expired, by not by more than 30 days).</li><li>Full UK working rights</li></ul> <p> </p><p><strong>Company Benefits:</strong></p><ul> <li><strong></strong>Annual leave - 20 days + bank holidays</li><li>Excellent career progression - path towards engineering/technician/licenced</li><li>Pension - 5% employee/3% company, then after 2 years you have the option of 4% employee/ company 5.22% or 6% employee/ employer 7.22%</li><li>Company sick pay after probation</li></ul> <p> </p><p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity </strong></p><p>At CAE, everyone is welcome to contribute to our success.
