<p><strong>MAP Specialist Structure (d/f/m) - HAMBURG</strong></p> <p>Only last week Hamburg hosted the famous AIX Expo, and last Wednesday made Airbus history with the first flight of the A321 XLR - with cross Atlantic performance. Would you like to be "<em><strong>where the action is taking place</strong></em>", located in a very English like city - with many leisure activities available (including subsidised flying club). </p> <p>Are you ready to step up to the next level ?</p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The jobholder works as a MAP Specialist Structure (d/f/m). In this challenging position you have the<br /> opportunity to experience the full scope of SA Family airframe structures and are responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Providing pragmatic and safe engineering expertise for the final assembly line (FAL), flight line and delivery centre</li> <li>Working on the complete primary/secondary aircraft structures (covering most of the ATA chapters linked to structural design and stress such as nacelles and pylons, fuselage, wing join-up, doors and windows).</li> <li>Representing MAP in design offices, production, subcontractors, risk sharing partners and our customers</li> <li>Supporting the single aisle ramp-up along with being agile to cover extraordinary workloads, shop floor support, on-call (if required) and weekend recovery</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independent, structured and result-oriented work, for fast and direct achievement of objectives</li> <li>Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information to the departments</li> <li>We are looking for candidates who have high technical skills, are resilient team players and practice Airbus values ??on a daily basis</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</em></strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Please note that we accept CVs that are more than 3 months old at the time of offering<br /> are, cannot take into account!</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>Educational requirements </strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Manufacturing / production at least over 3 years<br /> Stress engineer at least 3 years<br /> Experience with ATA53 and ATA57 stress (Static and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance) mandatory.</p> <p><strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Risk management at least basic knowledge</p> <p><strong>linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> any other language would be a plus<br /> </p> <p><strong>Required other qualifications</strong><br /> Proven work experience in an aerospace engineering environment, preferably with focus on<br /> airframe activities</p> <p>Good knowledge of production as well as aircraft definition processes, ideally within the A320<br /> family series production activities</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your experience, your availability and your present salary.
