<p>Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician</p><p>Reports to: Head of Base Maintenance</p><p>Location: Brize Norton, UK</p><p>__________________________________________________________________________________</p><p>CAE Parc aviation are currently recruiting for a renowned aviation solution provider. The company has a strong reputation of providing customers with a complete range of solutions including aircraft maintenance & modifications, technical, engineering and design services, logistics and material solutions and international training.</p><p> </p><p>The company provides a range of aviation solutions including Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance, MAA Part 145 Defence Services, CAMO & Technical Services and Part 21 Design Services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Job Purpose:</p><p>A Military Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician required to perform aircraft maintenance tasks on the A400M Atlas in accordance with Technical Documentation & Company Procedures.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>• Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by the Hangar Foreman, SLE or LE, providing assistance to other staff (any trade) to ensure safe and effective working practices.</p><p>• Ensure you are booked to task and to advise Hangar Foreman if additional time is required to complete a task.</p><p>• Carry out movement of heavy equipment, tooling, and spares around the site. This may involve the use of forklift (training will be provided).</p><p>• Assist with aircraft cleaning.</p><p>• Maintain a clean working environment around the aircraft and facilities.</p><p>• Contain any fuel and/or oil spillage.</p><p>• Assist with aircraft manoeuvring requirements.</p><p>• Ensure all waste products are separated and recycled as necessary.</p><p>• Ensure the scissor lifts are on charge at the end of their shift and ensure battery servicing is carried out.</p><p>• Ensure all AAGDS vehicles are clean and tidy, and all fluid levels checked.</p><p>• Address and report any safety concerns immediately.</p><p>• Ensure that equipment is maintained in a serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe condition, reporting any faulty equipment immediately using the correct channels.</p><p>• Carry out additional team responsibilities or any other reasonable request from your Hangar Foreman, SLE, LE or Hangar Management Team.</p><p>• To recommend to the SLE any improvements that may increase safety and/or efficiency.</p><p>• Carry out any reasonable request to carry out offsite support e.g., AOG, Line.</p><p>• Remain up to date with all Read & Sign notices. Health and Safety</p><p>• Understand individual operational safety and security responsibilities.</p><p>• Be aware of aviation security responsibilities with regards to the Company Security Policy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Essential Skills & Qualifications:</p><ul> <li>Minimum of a completed apprenticeship within aero engineering Pt 147 training (UK or West Europe based organisation)</li><li>Minimum of three years working within a Pt 145 organisation on fixed wing large (large wide body aircraft ideally)</li><li>Has had Competency Assessment completed and is at a satisfactory level.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team.</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised when required to do so.</li><li>Good awareness of Aviation safety.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Able to operate a powerset (GPU).</li></ul> <p> </p><p> </p><p>Typical Working Conditions:</p><ul> <li>Must satisfy and maintain the required medical standard.</li><li>Must satisfy and maintain airport security requirements.</li><li>Must have full UK working rights</li></ul> <p> </p><p> </p><p>Equal Employment Opportunity</p><p>At CAE, everyone is welcome to contribute to our success.
