<p><strong>Stress Engineer A350 Freighter (m/f/d)</strong></p> <p>We have a very prestigious position on offer, as <strong>Stress Engineer A350 Freighter (m/f/d) </strong>based at the Airbus Hamburg factory. Hamburg needs no introduction, and is a very liveable city where nearly everyone speaks English. For this position, experience of ISAMI required.</p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as a stress engineer for door components made of metal and<br /> composites in the A350 freighter derivative area. Also works for the A350F Main Deck development team:</p> <ul> <li>Cargo Door and Door Surround.</li> <li>Analysis and validation of composite and hybrid structures for statics and strength</li> <li>Support in monitoring supplier activities (including acceptance of stress calculations)</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles,</li> <li>Processes, methods and policies regarding manufacturing capabilities</li> <li>Definition, interpretation and validation of the stress tests for participating Airbus departments</li> <li>Interactive cooperation in the door team for construction and fatigue regarding the constructive implementation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> The ability to quickly recognize and understand technical relationships and functionalities<br /> analyze Independent, structured and result-oriented work in order to achieve goals on schedule<br /> achieve and coordinate work processes efficiently<br /> Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels<br /> to work together</p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering<br /> may be taken into account!</p> <p>Estimated interview dates are planned from week 45.<br /> <br /> <strong>Required educational studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Calculation of statics at least over 3 years<br /> Development at least over 3 years<br /> Stress engineer at least 3 years</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Python at least initial application knowledge<br /> Catia V5 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> Nastran at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> PDMlink A350 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> VPM A350 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> FEM methods and tools are assumed</p> <p><strong>Other knowledge</strong><br /> Project management at least good knowledge<br /> Knowledge of ISAMI is required</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least advanced<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p>other qualifications<br /> Hyperworks (tool) knowledge desirable</p>
