<p><strong>Equipment Mechanic (m/f/d) - Hamburg - URGENT REQUIREMENT</strong></p> <p>We have a large number of superb vacancies for Equipment Mechanics on the world's most advanced airliners, located in the vibrant and exciting City of Hamburg (where everyone speaks English).</p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> Note: This collective tender is a generic tender for various departments.<br /> <br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as an equipment mechanic with the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Preparation of mechanical and hydraulic components at the construction, work and machine site</li> <li>Installation of mechanical and hydraulic components and components (e.g. brackets, hydraulic installations, gears, large components), etc. labeling, equipping, assemble, adjust, torque and secure</li> <li>Test according to specifications and functional test</li> <li>Documentation of work and complaints</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ability to integrate into a group and to solve tasks together and being able to compromise and accept support from others</li> <li>The ability to be independent, focused and to work responsibly on a task</li> <li>Willingness to work shifts in 2 and 3 shifts</li> </ul> <p>This position requires a pre-qualification of the Equipment Mechanic profile.</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Please note that we accept CVs that are older than 3 years at the time of offering<br /> Months are, can not take into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Vocational training</strong><br /> Precision mechanic at least vocational training<br /> or<br /> Aircraft mechanic at least vocational training<br /> or<br /> Industrial mechanic at least vocational training</p> <p><strong>Work experience</strong><br /> Manufacturing / production at least over 2 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 2 years<br /> Mechanics at least over 2 years<br /> Equipment mechanics experience would be an advantage</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least initial application knowledge</p> <p><br /> <strong>linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least well versed (those without registrar for online German crash course and send proof or registration) <br /> English at least basics</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your experience, your availability and your present salary.
