<p><u><strong>Administrative Assistant - Procurement (EASA)</strong></u></p> <p>We offer a superb INTERIM position with EASA in Cologne, as a Administrative Assistant - Procurement in the Executive Directorate. You will report to the Head of Procurement Section. A great way for someone between jobs to gain EU experience at EASA.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>MAIN TASKS</strong></p> <p>Overall purpose of the job:</p> <p>1. To provide administrative support in launching and administering tendering procedures;</p> <p>2. General admin support to HoD (e.g., schedule and confirm appointments -internal and external, ARES filing, follow up, closing items, preparing missions).</p> <p>3. To support in opening and evaluation sessions related to current and future procurement procedures;</p> <p>4. To draft notification letters and associated documents;</p> <p>5. To organise meetings, and related document management (agenda coordination, print and scan, bind and send contracts);</p> <p>6. To accurately enter vendor and contract data into SAP;</p> <p>7. To file and archive documents of the Department;</p> <p>8. Any other similar tasks as above</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>REQUESTED PROFILE/ADDITIONAL COMMENTS</strong></p> <p>• At least completed secondary education level of studies (and vocational school completed in 2018);</p> <p>• Preferably: relevant training in the area of legal, procurement, or public administration;</p> <p>• Relevant professional experience in providing administrative support of at least one year;</p> <p>• Advantageous: Relevant professional/work experience in public procurement (preferably EU).</p> <p>• Very good command of both written and spoken English, preferably also very good command in German;</p> <p>• Good communication / interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment;</p> <p>• Good organisational skills;</p> <p>• Good computer literacy, particularly with Word, Excel, Outlook as well as SAP;</p> <p>• High moral integrity; Behavioural competencies:</p> <p>• Ability to work accurately;</p> <p>• Strong sense of commitment, legality and confidentiality;</p> <p>• Ability to apply effective organisational skills and to efficiently handle a large volume of work;</p> <p>• Ability to work effectively within an international team;</p> <p>• Very good communication skills</p> <p> </p> <p>To work for an EU Agency and in Germany, a EU passport is mandatory</p>
