<p><b>Air Traffic Controller</b></p> <p>CoDA is located 10 minutes from Derry~Londonderry. It is positioned centrally between the world-renowned Causeway Coastal Route and the enchanting Wild Atlantic Way. Operating since 1978, the airport serves as the main gateway to the entire North West of Ireland for both business and leisure traffic.</p> <p><b>Role</b></p> <p>To provide ATC services related to ADI/TWR and APP ratings, the controller will be required to maintain a safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic in the vicinity of CoDA, in accordance with all relevant UK regulatory and statutory requirements.</p> <p><b>Skills and Experience</b></p> <p>Applicants will be required to hold:</p> <ul> <li>A valid UK Air Traffic Controller Licence issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority;</li> <li>ADI/TWR and APP ratings on that UK licence, each with previous UK unit endorsements;</li> <li>ICAO English Language Proficiency Certificate at Level 6.</li> <li>A UK Class 3 Medical Certificate.</li> </ul> <p>Possession of a Certificate in Aeronautical Meteorological Observing issued by the UK Met Office is desirable.</p> <p><b>Other Requirements</b></p> <p>Successful applicants will be required to undertake all relevant criminal record checks and to provide a 5-year work / training / education reference history.</p> <p><b>Application</b></p> <p>Application details can be obtained from the Human Resources Department by emailing <a href="mailto:Liz.Hughes@cityofderryairport.com" rel="no-follow">Liz.Hughes@cityofderryairport.com</a> or by visiting our website at:</p> <p><a href="https://www.cityofderryairport.com/about-us/jobs-careers/" rel="no-follow">https://www.cityofderryairport.com/about-us/jobs-careers/</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
