About this role
<p><u><strong> Aircraft Component Fitter (d/m/f)</strong></u></p> <p> </p> <p>The job holder works as an aircraft component fitter (d/m/f). The task area breaks down in detail as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Carrying out sheet metal and metal processing on aircraft components</li> <li>Special tools and machines (e.g. bending, cutting, drilling, reaming, countersinking, grinding, sweeping, riveting, pressing in bushings and bearings)</li> <li>Removal of corrosion (blasting) and application of corrosion protection</li> <li>Carrying out inspections and tests (visual inspections, dimensional accuracy, corrosion damage) according to the manufacturer's maintenance documents and work plans</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Work results</strong>: Installable repaired aircraft components (e.g.: turbine air intakes,<br /> Eurofighter landing flaps, Tornado fore-wings and control columns) or manufacture of ready-to-install ones<br /> Repair parts and documentation of the work carried out (electronic)</p> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Excellent teamwork and communication skills<br /> High reliability, cooperative working style and a structured way of working<br /> Willingness to work shifts and Saturdays</p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified considered.</strong></em></p> <p><strong>Required vocational training</strong><br /> Aircraft mechanic at least vocational training<br /> or<br /> Aircraft mechanic FR<br /> manufacturing engineering<br /> at least vocational training<br /> or<br /> Aircraft mechanic FR<br /> maintenance technology<br /> at least vocational training<br /> or<br /> Sheet metal worker or coachbuilder</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Manufacturing / production at least over 3 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 3 years<br /> Servicing/maintenance for at least 3 years<br /> Experience in sheet metal and metal processing is required</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> SAP OPAL knowledge must be available</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> (German an advantage)<br /> English at least advanced</p>
