<p><u><strong>AWACS MRO Engineer / Mech. Systems Installation (f/m/d)</strong></u></p> <p>We have on offer a position AWACS MRO Engineer / Mech. Systems Installation (f/m/d), with customer Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located at Manching. A great opportunity to work on AWACS, and enjoy winter sports.</p> <p>The jobholder works as an AWACS MRO Engineer / Mech. Systems Installation (f/m/d) and the main<br /> tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Performing engineering tasks within the scope of the maintenance of a mission aircraft</li> <li>Assessment of damage to the aircraft structure and aircraft systems caused by corrosion, cracks, dents, etc. as part of the non-conformity process</li> <li>Preparation of the corresponding damage analyses</li> <li>Preparation of technical statements on request of the customer</li> <li>Analysis of the target/actual configuration and investigation of alternative materials and obsolete standard parts</li> <li>Development of repair solutions and drawings within the scope of depot repair</li> <li>Detailing of the corresponding product data for fixtures, assemblies and individual parts using</li> <li>CATIA and data management systems, in coordination with the technical departments involved in the process</li> <li>Independent preparation of standard repair instructions and technical change requests for aircraft documentation</li> <li>Creation of procedures and instructions to support the manufacturing process</li> <li>On-site" support of production and final assembly in the multifunctional team through permanent support of the maintenance process on the aircraft</li> <li>Development and integration of modifications in consideration of the specification and in</li> <li>Coordination with system departments and customers</li> <li>Incorporation of changes for product improvement</li> <li>Support of export control in the evaluation of export controlled components and documents</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Very good technical understanding</li> <li> Independent and proactive working style / ability to work in a team</li> <li> Active willingness to communicate with other departments, e.g. work preparation, production, quality assurance</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified considered.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required educational Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma degree</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Experience with CATIA V5 and product data management systems is desired</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Safe handling of the flow commitment reference documents, construction documents and documents and experience in handling export controlled data is necessary<br /> Design experience in the field of structure & system integration as well as repair procedures on aircraft is a must<br /> AWACS system knowledge and experience is desirable<br /> Distinct knowledge in configuration management is required<br /> Very good technical understanding and comprehensive knowledge of general aircraft construction is necessary<br /> </p>
